Firms ready to battle it out for awards glory
STOCKPORT Business Awards is now in its sixth year, having been set up by Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants back in 2012 to recognise and reward business excellence in the town.
Each week we’re going to be telling you a little bit more about the companies that have made the 2017 shortlist.
Business of the Year £1-5m is sponsored by Gorvins Solicitors and the shortlisted companies are: Leads 2 Trade, S I Sealy and Woodbank Office Solutions.
Leads 2 Trade are an on-line digital marketing company that supplies real time sales leads using state-of-the-art technology to over 350 companies throughout the UK.
They have supplied in excess of half a million double qualified sales leads since they set up in 2006 and have gone from strength to strength over this time.
S I Sealy are one of the largest specialist building services engineering design firms in the Northwest, with over 60 years’ experience across all market sectors. Their focus is on quality in every area of the business and this is reflected in 90% of their work being repeat business from an extensive client list. S I Sealy also prides itself on the fact it’s engineers are widely acknowledged as being amongst the best in the business.
Founded in 1989 by Janet Bowden, Woodbank Office Solutions is one of the UK’s largest Konica Minolta and Kyocera suppliers of digital, multifunctional photocopiers and network printers. Woodbank’s customer service values have led to them being a fast-growing business which retains almost 100% of its clients and gets regular recommendations from them too.
Winners will be announced at a Black-Tie dinner at Stockport Town Hall on October 12, which 400 of Stockport’s top business people will attend. Stockport Business Awards are organised by businesses for businesses.
