Help us to make the headlines in 2021

WHAT would you like to see as a headline/front cover in the local press, about Stockport, in 2021?

This was the question posed at Stockport’s Business Summit earlier this month.

Some interesting responses came forward, such as ‘Stockport Destination of Choice’ or ‘Best food and culture destination outside of Manchester.’

Some mentioned aspirations for Metrolink to run through the borough and others referred to a centre for innovation and economic growth.

The Business Summit welcomed over 80 local businesses to hear about plans for furthering Stockport’s economic growth and to discuss what more could be done to improve the borough for businesses.

Understandably there were high expectations and aspirations, but also a sense of wanting to work together to achieve these goals.

We all have a role to play and that includes supporting each other as businesses, which is one of the aims of the Economic Alliance.
