Passionate fan Dave is getting out of his

Schools for Boys in Wilmslow (later to become Thorngrove County High School) way back when.

It is fair to say there was not a huge number of County fans in the school, but despite the apparent attractions of United, City, Liverpool and Everton, it was County that always secured Dave’s loyalty.

Now a 52-year ifelong County Supporter Dave lives in Reddish with his wife Sandra, and has two grown lads who have both flown the nest.

Dave works for a pharmaceutical company in Macclesfield, and his hobbies include keeping koi carp, which he has exhibited at shows all over the UK.

A passionate County supporter , Dave believes that the club’s biggest asset is its fan base, and because of this it is imperative that the supporters should have a real say in how the club is run to help ensure that the club remains in good health for future generations.

Dave sees the Co-op as a democratic and credible organisation and the positive vehicle for the supporters of Stockport County.

His job is a sedentary one ..... thus Dave has found his weight burgeoning of latetipping the scales recently at 16 stones.

So...rather than sit and ponder those facts, Dave chose to opt for a major leap forward physically speaking, opting to enter the Ellesmere ( Shropshire) 10K road
