Centre is world class winner

A REDDISH sports centre has been named ‘Leisure Centre of the Year’.

Houldsworth Village, run by Life Leisure, took the top spot at the national 2017 UKActive Flame Awards.

The winners are chosen on the basis of independent member surveys, ‘mystery shopping’ and an assessment by a panel of industry experts.

Life Leisure CEO Malcolm McPhail said: “We are thrilled that Houldsworth Village has been recognised on the national stage – it is a truly unique centre with world class facilities.”
