Mobility company is ‘accredited provider’

-

A STOCKPORT mobility and stairlift provider has been chosen as an ‘accredited equipment provider,’ as one of a number of local Retailers to supply care equipment via a prescription form.

Ableworld, based on Buxton Road, is now part of the scheme which enables people to access services when they need them and to exercise control over what they need to live independently.

Mike Williams, managing director of Ableworld, said: “This is an exciting scheme that gives the customer choice of both product and retailer to receive their required prescription.

“The item will be supplied free of charge unless the customer wishes to upgrade, meaning they will only pay the price difference of the two products.

“The customer’s needs will still be assessed by a trained professional and then a prescription will be issued to bring the product into an accredited retailer of their choice.”

Ableworld is offering a £10 voucher for a limited time to all customers who exchange their prescriptions in the new Ableworld store at 315 Buxton Road. The store is opens from 9am to 5.30pm, six days a week and has free parking.
