THE following people have appeared before Stockport magistrates:
ASHLEY ROBERT JOHNSON, 30, of Maxwell Avenue, Great Moor, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £120, 16-month driving ban, £85 costs.
IDRIS AYDIA, 36, of Rostrevor Road, Adswood, was found guilty of sexual assault. Six months’ jail, £500 compensation, £620 costs.
EDWARD JOHN OAKES, 51, of Millbrook Towers, central Stockport, was found guilty of assault. Fined £150, £250 compensation, £50 costs.
DANIEL JAMES BROCKLEHURST, 23, of Bateson Street, Stockport, admitted driving without due care and driving not in accordance with a licence and was found guilty of failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident. Fined £600, six driving licence penalty points, £620 costs.
RICHARD SHOTTIN, 36, of Buckingham Road, Poynton, pleaded guilty to harassment. Fined £120, £85 costs.
MARIE ANNE JACKSON, 27, of Bosley Road, Cheadle Heath, admitted drink-driving. Community punishment order with an activity requirement, fined £50, three-year driving ban, £85 costs. ADAM HOWARD HALL, 32, of Woodgate Close, Bredbury, pleaded guilty to the use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Community punishment order with 100 hours’ unpaid work, £85 costs. MIRI ANTHONY, 19, of Alvington Grove, Hazel Grove, admitted obstructing a police officer. Fined £80, £85 costs.
ZERKERNAN MAHMOOD, 24, of Elmtree Drive, Heaton Norris, admitted resisting a police officer and the use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Five weeks’ jail suspended for a year, £160 costs.
JACK ANTHONY BAILEY, 28, of Grange Avenue, Cheadle Hulme, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting. Twelve weeks’ jail suspended for 18 months, 100 hours’ unpaid work, £85 costs.
JOANNE LINTON, 48, of Lisburne Close, Offerton, admitted drink-driving. Fined £150, 17-month driving ban, £85 costs.
STEPHEN JOHN WOODHALL, 28, of Ilkley Crescent, Reddish, pleaded guilty to wilfully obstructing a freepassageway. Twelvemonth conditional discharge, £85 costs.
