Well I now know them as the independent fan group ‘BC16,’ and they explained what they are all about as follows.

“We actively organise all displays on match days home and away such as flags and banners, and we stand in UT3 as one group,” said a spokesman for the group.

“We are a dedicated and close group of younger like minded fans who seek to improve the atmosphere around Edgeley Park, something that has seen a decrease in recent times for both reasons on and off the pitch.

“We all have been going to watch County over the years and hope to regain some of the buzz around the club a factor that many of you will probably identify with.

“Through our work we further hope to attract the next generation to the club.” How brilliant is that? Very, in my view and I was delighted to hear that the Supporters Cooperative board had agreed to meet the BC16 group at their next meeting.
