Healthy living boost for pupils

A CHEADLE Heath business has launched a competitio­n to encourage healthy living in schools across Stockport.

Totally Local Company, based on Oakhurst Drive, has partnered with Manchester firm, Little Sports Coaching to offer pupils the chance to win a free week of sports coaching for themselves and a friend.

Children are being asked to design a poster which promotes healthy living and encourages youngsters to make healthy choices and the winner will also get a free Little Sports Coaching session for their whole class, which they can help design.

Two runners-up will receive a free day at Little Sports Coaching for themselves and a friend to help kick-start or support their own healthy lifestyles.

All entrants will receive a voucher code for a 10 per cent discount off a Little Sports Coaching holiday course.

The competitio­n will run until Friday, June 29, with the winners and runnersup announced on Thursday, July 5.

The top designs will be displayed in libraries across Stockport over the 2018 school summer holidays.

“In school a healthy lifestyle can boost concentrat­ion and performanc­e.”
