PEOPLE who have appeared before Stockport Magistrate­s: ●●CARL Anthony Milton, 35, of Leamington Court, Reddish, admitted assaulting a police officer, committed while subject to a suspended sentence order. He also admitted assault and was found guilty of using threatenin­g or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour. Jailed for 12 weeks in total, with a two-year criminal behaviour order and restrainin­g order. ●●BRIAN Talbot, 40, of Shakespear­e Road, Bredbury, admitted possession of a weapon, namely pepper spray. Community order to participat­e in a rehabilita­tion activity for up to 10 days and carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months, £85 costs. ●●WILLIAM Fogg, 38, Bosley Road, Cheadle Heath, was found guilty of assault and possession of a weapon in a public place, namely a six-foot pole. Handed a six-month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months. To participat­e in a rehabilita­tion activity of up to 20 days and carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Restrainin­g order made until September 6, 2019, £250 compensati­on and £620 costs. ●●DECLAN Keith Wayne Cookson, 18, of Brindale House, Stockport, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order. Fined £80, £85 costs. ●●JAMES Aled Lloyd, 32, of Brent Moor Road, Bramhall, admitted drinkdrivi­ng. Fined £415, £85 costs, banned from driving for 20 months. ●●CLAIRE Rebbitt, 44, of Bradfield Close, Stockport, admitted failing to promptly notify Stockport council of a change in circumstan­ces affecting her entitlemen­t to Housing Benefit and failing to promptly notify HMRC of a change in circumstan­ces affecting her entitlemen­t to Child Tax Credit. Handed an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for two years. To participat­e in a rehabilita­tion activity for up to 10 days and carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. £85 costs.
