Questions raised for club board to answer
THE Supporters Cooperative are due to meet the Club Board , and this is a snap shot of what questions will be raised at that time.
Firstly we seek clarification on availability of funds for the County manager in his promotion push, asking for an update also on renewal of contracts for next season, with particular emphasis on the situation regarding Scott Duxbury and Jamie Stott.
The Cooperative is also concerned that income from current cup runs accrue to the manager.
Given the fantastic progress made by Jim and the team, and the realistic prospect of finally exiting this division, the Supporters Cooperative are asking how confident are the board that they would be able to provide the funds to support a full time conference premier team.
We will ask about the projected profit / loss for the 2018/19 season to June 2019.
The Club will also be pressed on the recent sale of the Bungalow on Hardcastle Road.
Our concern is whether losing out on a plot of land that could accommodate expansion in the future is shortsighted .
We also are asking whether the club have explored the use of the whole site with SMBC?
We welcomed the introduction of a `Bottle Bar ` in the Cheadle End, as suggested by the Supporters Cooperative, and look for a report as to how this venture went.
We also will ask what plans or measures the caterers have in mind to introduce to improve staffing and quality of service in the Danny Bergara Stand, Cheadle End, and Pop Side (Vernon Stand).
Questions are to be tabled on ticketing at Edgeley Park . Suggestions to be made include the introduction of a `token” type loyalty scheme so regular attendees at matches could get priority after ST holders for possible play-off games and boost attendances at the same time? Additionally can the club take payments by card?
A full report on answers obtained hopefully next week.
