Charity concert

A FUNDRAISING concert in support of Stockport’s Beechwood cancer care centre will be held this weekend.

The Beechwood choir will be supported by the Hazel Grove-based Affinity show choir for the Spring into Song concert.

The choir is made up of patients, carers, staff and friends of the centre and meets every Tuesday from 5.30pm until 7pm. They find there’s nothing more uplifting than belting out a song or two in a friendly, relaxed place where all are welcome. Organisers are promising special guests, a late bar and a wonderful evening of music, raising much needed funds.

The concert is on Saturday, March 9, at The Forum Theatre in Romiley from 7.30pm. Tickets are £12 and available from the forums box office or call Lesley on 07947 315669.
