Treat at Garrick

STOCKPORT Garrick is set to host The Dark Earth and the Light Sky next week.

A play by Nick Dear, it is based on the life of poet Edward Thomas, set around the time of the First World War.

It was first performed in London’s West End in 2012, to critical acclaim.

There is free parking for visitors on performance nights at Amplicon House on Exchange Street.

The play is on at Stockport Garrick Theatre from March 9-16.
