Charity aids 107 cancer patients

A CANCER charity has offered support to more than 100 people with cancer across Stockport during the pandemic.

Macmillan Cancer Support have given more than £34,000 to 107 people.The charity also gave just over £649,500 in hardship grants to help around 2,000 people across the region struggling with the pandemic’s financial impact and the unexpected costs cancer can bring.

Grants are available to anyone living with cancer in the region, thanks to donations from the public.
