Bane brings home Houldsworth trophy

MAJOR action at Houldsworth for The Spring Cup had Tom Bane in charge with a neat 66, three less than Gerald Dolan and Adam Russell.

A Pro’s Stableford at Houldsworth was won by John Connolly with 39 points, one more than Adrian Crannage and Ken Wicks.

Hazel Grove Seniors were in two competitions with the first needing a cpo on 38 points to see Bernard Simcock in top spot from Peter Clayton.

The second competition was in three divisions and top of the divisions were Mark Saxon 41, Leon Maguire 39 and Ian Waters 39.

Hazel Grove ladies were in 9-hole action with Jill Oehicke in charge with 16 points from Maureen Worsley 14.
