Shahana’s inspiring tale brought to book

-

SHAHANA Knight has been included in a group of women from across the UK whose inspirational stories have been featured in a book, which will help to raise funds for a national charity.

Shahana from Stockport, founded TPC Therapy Ltd, a mental health service for children and young people.

The therapists she manages work with children in schools, in adoption and fostering sectors and they also work with homicide teams across England.

As well as launching her business, Shahana has also created the Therapeutic Teaching Course, the Wellbeing Curriculum and the Therapeutic Schools Award for schools across England, which puts children’s wellbeing at the core of education.

The story of her childhood, which she believes gave her the empathy and love needed for her career and successful businesses, has led to her being included in Inspirational Women, Inspirational Lives, which celebrates female achievers from across the country.

The book, alongside an auction and the awards ceremony, will raise money for the Katie Piper Foundation, which supports burn survivors.

Katie said: “I’m so honoured that my charity has been chosen to benefit from the awards, auction, and book inspired by these incredible women. Their stories of determination through the pandemic and resilience are to be celebrated.”
