GO PEAT FREE FOR SPRING

NOW the gardening season in underway, can I remind readers how important it is to use peat free compost to prevent environmental damage.

Monty Don of Gardeners’World has said that “the use of peat in compost is an act of environmental vandalism”.

Peatlands trap carbon, reducing emissions and helping to tackle climate change, control flooding and provide homes for wildlife.
