COUNTY SUPPORTERS COOPERATIVE
THE AGM of the Stockport County Supporters Cooperative is usually a fairly mundane gathering – an important event for sure, but definitely one usually low on excitement!
That said, in November 24-year-old Callum Walmsley was elected to the board thus lowering the average age of board members considerably at a stroke!
Part of Callum’s remit on the board is to attempt to attract young people into membership of the organisation and he is making a good fist of it by all accounts.
His approach is aimed less at a hard sell, concentrating instead on ensuing that we as an organisation have the necessary facilities on hand to provide a relaxing environment in which fans can socialise with their peers, and this first venture we think is spot on in that respect.
Next week sees him step up as organiser of the inaugural ‘Coop Pool League’ - a social pool league for County supporters to take part in.
The league is open to all County supporters and will take place on the first Monday of every month, starting from Feb 6, @ Hazel Grove Snooker Club between 19:30-21:30 each session.
We encourage players of all abilities to come down and get involved!

You do not have to be a member of the Supporters Co-operative to take part in the league, but we do encourage you to join!
I contacted Callum yesterday and he advised that the response so far has been good, and he expects a good turn out on 6 February.
So, you are cordially invited to join your fellow County supporters at this exciting event – just turn up and join the league on the night.
