COUNTY SUPPORTERS COOPERATIVE BY IAN BROWN

-

READERS of this column will know that we are actively seeking not only a meeting between the Supporters Cooperative and the Club, but we are also looking to co-sponsor with the Club another Fans Forum at Edgeley Park.

This should be sorted soon but in the meantime via the Club we were advised of an interesting event that is upcoming soon.

The EFL are to hold a Match Experience Fans Forum, on Tuesday 28 March (6.30pm-8pm), which is happily open to Club staff and supporters who can attend the virtual event getting involved via a pre-event sign up process.

The event is to be broadcast virtually to an online audience, hosted by Sky Sports’ David Prutton with a number of football industry studio panel guests invited to discuss a range of matters linked to the match experience, crowd behaviour, and some of the challenges impacting the League and its Clubs, and I am particularly interested to note the involvement of the Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) in this.

Supporters and football stakeholders will be able to join online, listen and contribute to discussion on match operations, Clubs and supporter collaboration, and ways to improve the matchday experience, in line with the EFL commitment to the Love Football Protect the Game campaign.

We think that this is a really useful event and one in which County fans opinions would be welcomed along with those of numerous other EFL clubs and we would encourage as many as possible to register via the EFL web page https://www. involved.events/ registration/

By clicking on the link, a registration web page will open up with a number of fields required to be entered and submitted.

A Forum link will then be sent via email to enable access to the event online on the evening of 28 March.
