Star ready for Netflix role

MICHELLE Keegan has said she’s been left ‘screaming’ as her co-star revealed something rather exciting about their upcoming project.

Over the summer, the actress declared ‘that’s a wrap’ as she finished filming on her biggest project to date after months of hard work across the North West.

Stockport-born Michelle (pictured right) is set to star in Fool Me Once, the new Netflix adaptation of bestselling author Harlan Coben’s book. Netflix has already confirmed that Fool Me Once will start streaming on the service from January 1, 2024, but now Michelle had shared a bit more about how big her latest TV project is.

Taking to her Instagram Story, she reshared a post from co-star Richard who was stood in Times Square in New York. While stood in the Big Apple’s iconic location, he looked at the camera as the screen behind him changed to show a billboard for Fool Me Once featuring his and Michelle’s picture.

Alongside the post, Michelle typed: “Screaming right now!!!” alongside a string of mind blown emojis.

“The former soap star, who shot to fame playing Tina McIntyre in ITV’s Corrie, also took to her main grid with a picture of the billboard in all its glory.

“We’re in TIMES SQUARE baby !!!!! Fool Me Once,” she captioned her post before adding: “Out January 1st @netflixuk @ netflix,” and her famous pals and followers were quick to respond. Former Corrie co-star Helen Flanagan said: “Wow Michelle.” Mother-in-law and TOWIE star Carol Wright commented: “Wow you super star.”
