COUNTY SUPPORTERS COOPERATIVE

- BY IAN BROWN

THE Stockport County Supporters Cooperative nears the end of January in an optimistic mood.

Our new board has now held 2 meetings and looks well set to add to a successful 2022.

Last week I made reference to the debate on the future of our website and already there are positive signs of a resolution to that valuable exchange of views.

Our new Comms/ Media team meets tonight( 24 January) after having done much groundwork on the subject of the website , and the input of new board member Ed Chadwick has been particularly valuable in this process.

So, give us a few weeks and I think you will see a significantly revitalised website – I will confirm the link to same as/ when appropriate.

The website is just one of a number of hubs /portals that give us vital contact with supporters and vice versa.

We are looking to drive our membership upwards and in striving in that direction it is important that we are as proactive and visible as possible and on 29 January we have a meeting with representatives of the Stockport County board.

Questions for the Club board have been sought from County supporters and will be submitted along with some pertinent queries on important issues directly from the Supporters Cooperative board and it can be confirmed that there is no shortage of good quality questions.

Our visibility to supporters is as important as knowing their views and on 31 January, we are joined by County legends Oshor Williams and Tommy Sword at Stockport Gin on St Petersgate for our `Evening with Osher Williams & Tommy Sword`.

That evening is a sell-out and other similar events will follow soon, meanwhile we are always on the Grassy Knoll beside the Cheadle End turnstiles on home matchdays so seek us out!
