COUNTY SUPPORTERS COOPERATIVE

BY IAN BROWN

-

AT their meeting this week the Board of the Supporters Cooperative signalled the route they will be taking in the year ahead, the strategies to be adopted.

These will be fleshed out when we publish a brochure of upcoming events aspirations and opportunities soon,

Our Independent Secretary Cath Shanley has been extremely busy updating our rules making absolutely sure we are doing stuff correctly- details of the rules revision will be published in due course.

Amongst matters of top concern is our desire to be spot on when it comes to equality, diversity and inclusivity thus we invite anyone who thinks they might be willing to help us by getting involved in our ongoing discussions and actions on this important matter to contact us.

We have been as active as you would expect us to be as far as events are concerned recently, the latest example being the appeal for food donations in support of Chelwood Foodbank undertaken at County`s game against AFC Wimbledon last Saturday and our online auction of a signed Heaton Norris Rovers shirt that finished on Sunday and raised over £1000 for Christies Hospital.

We are looking to do a raft of events and efforts supporting charities and the community so again if you think you can contribute with ideas or in any other way please contact us.

The above just skims the surface of what we would like to do, and we would very much like your input and support going forward.

So, if you think you would like to contribute be it on diversity, equality & inclusivity, events supporting charities, fun evenings or anything contact us via info@ countysupporters coop.co.uk or catch us near the Cheadle End turnstiles on the Grassy Knoll any matchday Saturday between 1pm & 2.30.
