School is a gateway into top Scottish universities
In November 2016, Kilgraston was named ‘top performing independent school for Advanced Highers’ by bestschools.co.uk.
At Advanced Higher, 90.5 per cent of grades were A-B against a national average of 59.3 per cent, 36 per cent of girls are now studying a STEM undergraduate course and 100 per cent of girls were accepted into their choice of university.
Kilgraston has an exceptional reputation for girls gaining entry into top Scottish universities.
In 2016, more than 70 per cent of girls went on to study at universities in Scotland, including, St Andrews, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Offering day and boarding education, Kilgraston has something to inspire every young woman.
It is a school with traditional values but with a modern and forward-looking perspective on education.
Education is not just about exam success, developing interest and talents, nurturing an understanding of different cultures, and emphasising our personal responsibility as global citizens are vital.
As such, a Kilgraston girl benefits from a wealth of opportunities to extend and enrich her educational experience.
The schools offer more than 50 extracurricular activities, and enjoy modern, state of the art facilities including a Science Centre, Sixth Form Study Centre, excellent boarding accommodation, 25m swimming pool, all-weather astroturf pitches and Scotland’s only school equestrian centre.
Their ‘Junior Years Open Afternoon’ is on Tuesday, January 17 between 1.30pm and 3pm.
Families are invited to meet staff and pupils and tour our outstanding facilities. On Saturday, February 4, they are holding their whole school Open Day and Scholarship Day between 11am and 2pm.
