GrowBiz zoom event on adapting after Covid-19
Perthshire-based enterprise support organisation GrowBiz will host Robin McAlpine at its next XChange networking event.
The event will be held online using Zoom from 6-8pm on Thursday next week and will focus on how rural businesses can recover and adapt to life in the aftermath of the Covid-19 crisis.
Robin is director of Common Weal – which is described as a“think and do tank ”campaigning for social and economic equality in Scotland – which recently launched a series of reports including ideas for a sustainable recovery in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and the longerterm resilience of Scotland’s economy.
Jackie Brierton is CEO of GrowBiz.
She said:“We’re delighted to welcome Robin as our speaker for the July XChange networking event, and look forward to hearing his creative ideas on how rural businesses can recover and adapt after the devastating effects of Covid-19.”
GrowBiz XChange networking events are designed to be motivational and include the opportunity to ask questions and participate in discussions.
They also offer the opportunity to connect with other rural business owners and to talk about current opportunities and challenges.
Members of the GrowBiz team will be on hand to help with any support needed, and to arrange follow-up tailored sessions for anyone looking for specific enterprise advice.
