History officer wanted

Perth and Kinross Archive has a job vacancy for a local history officer.

Applications are invited from people with a background in local history, family history, community heritage, librarianship, archives or related disciplines.

The description of the role reads: “We are looking for someone with a customer and collections focused approach, who enjoys sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for local and family history with a wide range of users and will also enjoy progressing collections development activity within the department.

“The successful candidate will be part of a small team delivering archive and local and family history services across Perth and Kinross.‘‘
