Butcher’s cut helps Christian Aid

-

Comrie and Dundurn Parish Churches have raised a magnificent £896 for Christian Aid’s Afghanistan Crisis Appeal.

And donations have been further boosted by the customers of David Comrie & Son Butchers.

The Drummond Street shop donated a

percentage of its award-winning Lorne sausage sales last weekend, taking the final combined total to more than £1200.

Rev Craig Dobney said: “This is a fantastic sum of money that is being sent to Christian Aid.

“I would like to thank the

congregations of Comrie and Dundurn churches and David Comrie & Son butcher’s for their selfless generosity.”

The appeal to help the people of Afghanistan is ongoing.
