Funding chance for Strathalla­n groups

Community groups, charities and social enterprise­s in the Strathalla­n ward have until February 18 to apply for a share of the second round of awads from Perth and Kinross Council’s Community Investment Fund (CIF).

The local authority has said the CIF provides an opportunit­y for people to“work together to create a confident, ambitious and fairer Perth and Kinross”.

A total of £193,628 was left over from the first round of £600,000 that was split between the 12 Perth and Kinross ward areas to support projects tackling local issues and inequaliti­es and improve quality of life for communitie­s.

There is currently £4616 available for projects in Strathalla­n.

The closing date for applicatio­ns to CIF@pkc. gov.uk is Friday, February 18, at 5 pm.
