Those behind a new boutique festival have announced the first wave of artists for its debut at Scone Palace.

Three-day camping event Otherlands Music and Arts Festival, organised by the founders of FLY, will take place from August 19-21 this year.

Otherlands will span genres across six stages, with the organisers planning to take festival goers“on a journey into another world”– sound tracked by some of the biggest names in live and electronic music.

Announced as part of the line-up is duo Bicep, from Belfast, who will be bringing their acclaimed live show to Perthshire.

The two-time Brit Award nominees’second album Isle’s was released last year to critical acclaim, with lead single Atlas scooping DJ Mag’s 2020 Track of the Year award.

Joining them is Jamie xx, one of the most-sought after DJ and producers in electronic music and one third of the Mercury Prizewinning trio The xx.

Also included on the bill is multi-instrumentalist and producer Tom Misch, who is set to entertain with his own blend of R&B, jazz and soul.

DJ, producer, activist and fashion icon Honey Dijon will also be performing, as will renowned French house virtuoso Folamour with his energy-infused Power to the PPL project.

Minimal techno visionary and regular of Fabric London’s legendary room, Ricardo Villalobos, is another big-name addition, as is Alewya – one of the most exciting breakout artists of last year.

Tickets for the event are now on sale.
