Table-top sale success

-

A table-top sale held in Muthill Village Hall at the weekend amassed just over £1000.

Organised by Corrina Robertson, the event was to raise funds for new curtains for the community venue.

Corrina said she was overwhelmed with the response when she initially appealed for stall holders and donations for the sale.

There were so many items donated that Corrina was also able to organise a raffle.

Speaking after the sale, she said:“I would like to take the opportunity in thanking Michelle, Maureen,Tara, Mo, Linda, Mary,Donald and Katherine for all their help with the table-top sale.

“Thank you to the stall holders for coming along on the day and supporting the event. Thank you to friends, family and local businesses for all the lovely donations received for the tombola and raffle the response has been overwhelming to say the least.”

She added:“It was lovely to see so many people. The final total was a whopping £1,004.52, which is absolutely amazing so thank you all very much for your generosity.”
