Appeal for volunteers

An Auchterarder-based good cause is appealing for help from local organisations or volunteers that could help them out with transport.

Strathearn Cares supplies donated household items to those in need.

Crieff’s Tina McRorie, who founded the community group, explained: “We are looking for either a local charity or organisation that would lend us their van and driver once or twice a week in exchange for a donation, and we also need a strong volunteer that is able to come with us to collect and, on referrals, to help with lifting.”

Tina added: “Volunteers must be over 18 and, most of all, confidentiality is a must.”
