The popular Perform in Perth festival of music, speech and dance has started in fine style.

This year’s event opened earlier this month and runs until Saturday.

Numerous venues are playing host, including St John the Baptist Episcopal Church, Elim Pentecostal Church, Bankfoot Church Centre, North Inch Community Campus, Perth Concert Hall and St Leonard’s in the

Fields Church. There are events for groups of almost any size and description, in addition to an extensive programme for solo performers.

Participants have the opportunity to develop their skills through receiving advice and encouragement from a team of experienced professional adjudicators.
