New drop-off points have been set up for anyone wishing to donate specific items to support Ukrainian refugees.

The volunteer-led Tayside and Strathearn Help for Ukraine group is collecting donations in Crieff and Dunning, as well as elsewhere in the region.

Items can be left at Crieff Connexions in Church Street from 10am until 1pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

In Dunning, they can be left at either Dunning Primary School on Station Road or the village’s Nisa Local store on Bridge of Earn Road.

For more information on the Crieff collection point contact Elizabeth Philip on ephilip@crieff-connexions.co.uk.

In Dunning, contact Alison Cameron on 07752 103545.

A spokesperson for Tayside and Strathearn Help for Ukraine said: “We have been asked to collect food donations urgently because Lviv is running short of food.

“Please do donate whatever you can from the following list: baby jars and pouches; canned food; canned soup; sugar; salt; rice; dried pasta; dried food; tea and coffee; Pot Noodles.”

Updates can be found on the Tayside and Strathearn Help for Ukraine Facebook page.
