Report recommendations
The five key recommendations in the report are as follows:
• From April 2022, the school should review approaches to recording and reporting incidents of bullying language or behaviour and ensuring effective communication in relation to outcomes/ action taken with pupils and parents as part of this.
• From May 2022, undertake a review of the school’s vision, values and aims involving all members of the school community.
• From May 2022, through engagement with young people, identify a range of ways they will contribute to the life and work of the school.
• By December 2022 the new policies should be fully developed and ready for implementation. All members of the school community should be fully involved in this process.
•Throughout academic session 2022-23 consult with young people to review the current programme content for Personal and Social Education. Where appropriate external equality partner organisations should be involved.
