Club is hosting open day

An open afternoon is due to take place at Muthill Bowling Club on Saturday this week.

The event is due to get under way from 2pm at the Crieff Road green and all are welcome to attend.

It follows on from an urgent appeal for new members being issued in order to keep the club – which dates back more than 130 years – going.

The event is doubling as what would traditionally be the official opening of the green ahead of the start of the new season.

Anyone is welcome to head along, and all that is asked is that people wear flat-soled shoes.
