Stewart Donaldson SNP
Stewart Donaldson was first elected in 2017 and is looking to retain his seat when voters go to the polls.
Brought up in Crieff, he is currently convener of the town’s common good fund, as well as vice-convener of Perth and Kinross Council’s audit committee and a member of its environment and infrastructure committee.
Mr Donaldson said:“Since being elected five years ago I have worked tirelessly on behalf of my constituents, and I am ready to continue fighting on their behalf in the years to come.
“If re-elected, I will focus my attention on local issues that matter to my constituents, such as pushing for the completion of the Comrie
Flood Protection Scheme, addressing the issue of derelict buildings in Crieff and tackling the traffic conditions between Crieff, Comrie and St Fillans – and within these communities.
“Of course, we can only achieve these goals with a competent council administration that is willing to put money into local communities.
“From day one, the present Tory administration has proved itself to be utterly incompetent and unable to govern effectively.
“As we emerge from two very difficult years, it is vital that we have mature, positive and ambitious leadership at the heart of Perth and Kinross Council.”
