EGG-CITING EASTER RETURN
Children and adults were delighted to see a return to organised activities in the Strath capital for Easter after a two-year absence.
And they made the most of the fun day in MacRosty Park on
Sunday, organised by the
Pavilion Cafe’s Rob Bell as a fundraiser for Kids Week in Crieff.
Angela Baker, chair of KWIC, described the event as a “cracking” day out.
She told the Herald:
“We had a craft table set up and we had prizes for the best Easter crown and best art picture. We also had support from Crieff
Community Garden who brought the Easter Bunny along, as well as a dress-up carrot. The children had great fun playing ‘catch the carrot’, which was a huge hit. It was absolutely hilarious to see them running round the park after him.
“We had an egg hunt and Freddie Low found the golden egg, receiving as his reward a unicorn sundae from the cafe.
“Rob also had his pizza oven set up.
“The day culminated in the duck race, which was also great fun as usual. It was lovely seeing so many people back out and enjoying the activities together.”
