Easter fun in the Strath
Castle grounds and the community garden in Crieff were the ideal places for egg hunts at the weekend.
Drummond Castle Gardens opened its gates for a pre-season Easter treasure hunt on Saturday and Sunday, and along the road at Culdees Castle children were invited to take part in an egg hunt on Sunday.
And youngsters had an“egg-cellent” morning in Crieff Community Garden on Saturday.
Nearly 300 eggs were hidden by the Easter Bunny with all of them found and devoured.
As well as the egg hunt, the children enjoyed races, including an egg and spoon race, crafts and an Easter story in the reading corner.
Afterwards Catriona Smith of Crieff Community Garden thanked Crieff Coop for donating the eggs and for their continued support; Ruth Woodhouse for donating eggs; volunteers Athol, Muriel, Natalie, Gill, Alistair, Chris and Claire; Kids’Week in Crieff; Marlous for creating the ply Easter decorations; Remake Scotland for tables and a marquee, and of course, the Easter Bunny.
