A soup-er effort
The ladies of Comrie Golf Club held a successful soup and sandwich lunch in the village’s White Church Community Centre recently.
The April 16 event raised £567 in total, with £300 donated to local charity Friends of Legion Park.
Event organiser Helen Gordon said she was delighted with the turnout.
She told the Herald:“Many thanks to everyone who made the lunch such a success and to all the local people and visitors who came along to support us on the day.”
