Charity looking to fill 300 vacancies

-

A charity is offering people from the Strath and beyond the opportunity to play a part in the future of the country’s heritage.

The National Trust of Scotland is looking to fill 300 roles.

They say people can “make the most of the health and wellbeing benefits” of working in Scotland’s beautiful nature, while telling its stories and preserving important sites.

Last month the National Trust for Scotland launched its new 10- year strategy – ‘Nature, Beauty and Heritage for Everyone’ – which outlined ambitious plans for the years ahead.

Stuart Maxwell, general manager for Edinburgh and east region for National Trust for Scotland, said: “It’s an incredibly exciting time to join the trust, particularly following the launch of ‘Nature, Beauty and Heritage for Everyone’ and the big ambitions we have for the next 10 years.”
