Boost from Co-op will help flowers group keep blossoming
A local community group recently received a boost courtesy of Crieff’s Co-op store.
Manager Gary Pugh and community member pioneer Ally MacDonald recently presented Comrie in Colour with a cheque for £100 on behalf of the popular town supermarket.
Chair Marie Donnelly and treasurer Julia McVey accepted the money on behalf of the green-fingered group.
The donation will go towards buying small gardening tools for the volunteers to help keep the village’s popular displays looking their best.
Ally said:“If your local community group could benefit from a small Co-op Community donation of £50 to £150, please send your request by letter or email to the Crieff Co-op store.”
