Big-name wrestlers on bill at Crieff fight night
The World Wide Wrestling League is bringing live action back to Crieff next week.
Fighters will do battle in the ring as part of ‘W3L Mayday’ at Strathearn Arts in Comrie Street on Monday, May 6.
The World Wide Wrestling League –also known as ‘W3L’ – is a touring group that presents American-style wrestling events across the UK.
Promoter Mike Musgrave said: “The World Wide Wrestling League is set to return to Strathearn Arts with our lights, big screen, cameras and plenty of action as we celebrate more than 20 years of bringing the very best in professional wrestling to the UK.
“Matches will be taped for our popular YouTube series ‘ Wrestling Showdown’, which can be viewed every week at W3LNetwork.com and is a great way of getting a taste for W3L action before attending the live event.”
The event will feature an international line-up, including the likes of the USA’s August Artois, Canada’s Tim Strange and former WWE star Nina Samuels.

World Champion, the popular Taylor Bryden, will be out for revenge after ‘wrestling’s most handsome man’, Hugo Haris, cut the champion’s hair on a recent edition of W3L Wrestling Showdown.
“Former WWE star, Nina Samuels, will also be defending her W3L Women’s Championship in an open challenge match.
“There will also be a special tag-team match as the W3L stars return to Crieff for the first time since July last year.”
Mike added: “American wrestling is extremely popular with families and children.
“The World Wide Wrestling League hosts some of the biggest names in wrestling from the UK and abroad, including former WWE stars and top names from TV and major streaming platforms – including the WWE Network.”
Doors at the Comrie Street venue open at 6.15pm on the night, with the first bell sounding at 6.45pm.
Front row ringside tickets have been priced at £19, while it’s £14 for general admission tickets, £12 for concessions and £46 for a family of four.
