Take HTC’S U Ultra (see p52), remove the fancy second screen, knock £250 off the price and you’ve basically got the U Play instead.
With that same pearlescent finish as the Ultra it doesn’t feel any less expensive, but you will have to be careful to make sure it stays that way.
The 5.2in screen is a good size for just about anyone. It’s not really powerful enough for the price you’re paying, though, and a 2500mah battery just isn’t good enough for a phone with a 1080p screen. Still, lay it face-down on a desk and you’ve got a lovely paperweight.
