Hallelujah, our editor’s incessant whining about Lego dropping the “proper Ghostbusters car” from its line-up has finally been silenced. Somebody please get him this for Christmas: the 2352-piece Ecto-1 is a 47cm-long converted 1959 Cadillac Miller-meteor ambulance that naturally ties in with the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife film; but if bustin’ has made you feel good since 1984, you’ll find plenty to love here: a moving ghost-sniffer, an extendable rear gunner seat, a working steering wheel and authentic logos. Luckily, there’s nothing in the box that’ll slime you… although if you put the finished car on a high shelf, you might return to a pile of bricks that looks like a poltergeist has got busy. £180 / lego.com
