Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is making up for lost time by giving motorsport gaming an extra dose of glamour.

As if luxury cars from the likes of Ferrari, Bugatti and Aston Martin weren’t enough, your own driver also has to dress to impress – which you can tell from all the bling on the hands taking the wheels in the first trailer. The game’s structure will be about rising through the ranks and proving yourself in your clan (either the Streets or the Sharps) before working as a group to topple your rivals.

Capping all that off is Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s location of Hong Kong Island, which is being recreated in full. Doubling down on the former British colony’s reputation as a glamorous international hub, you’ll be racing through neon-lit back streets and busy industrial harbours but also beyond its glitzy skyline and across its natural terrain.

Details are still light on just how it will distinguish itself as a racing MMO… but as it’s not arriving until September next year, it’s got plenty of time to sharpen up.
