B&O’S gear normally looks like it belongs in a minimalist Scandi apartment or the penthouse of an exclusive hotel, but the Beosound Explore would much rather be getting kicked over at the beach or chucked around in a festival-goer’s backpack. The hardened aluminium shell has a toughness rating of IP67, while the buttons are well spaced so they can be pressed with gloves on, but it doesn’t neglect the audio side of things: a pair of 1.8in full-range drivers and two 30W Class D amps pump out 360º sound, while the 27hr battery life looks pretty much unbeatable.
