Superhero games pop up almost as regularly as superhero films, but the announcement of a Wonder Woman game still caught us off guard. Due out in 2023, it’s being developed by Shadow of Mordor developer Monolith and uses that game’s ingenious ‘Nemesis system’.

Not content with an upcoming sequel to his surprisingly fun live-action film, Sonic the Hedgehog is also getting a brand new game coming in late 2022. While the Blue Blur has often struggled in 3D, the new ‘open-zone’ approach could be what fans have been waiting for.

ALAN WAKE II

After the original game got a long-awaited remaster and its title character also made an appearance in Remedy’s game Control, Alan Wake II is finally happening. And not only is it a new-gen exclusive coming in 2023, but this sequel will also be a proper survival horror game.
