The first-generation Apple Pencil was a quality precision scribbling stick, but it had an annoying tendency to roll off your desk. Worse: when charging, it would precariously stick out of your ipad’s Lightning port. The follow-up is chunkier, making it better to hold, and wisely has a flat edge.
