British developer Rare made a timely comeback with this first-person online pirate adventure. Despite a lacklustre launch, players soon rallied behind it as a game that’s just great for hanging out together – whether sailing the high seas, hunting for treasure or getting drunk on grog – helped by its inclusion in Xbox Game Pass.
