If an Echo device starts yapping in response any word beginning with ‘a’, change the magic word from Alexa to either Amazon, Computer or Echo. To do this, swipe down from the top of the screen and select Settings. Tap ‘Device options’, followed by ‘Wake word’, and here you can choose the right word for you.
