If you need something more roomy than VW’S ID.3, how about the ID.4? It’s bigger and better when it comes to space and comfort.

The basic ID.4 Pure offers decent performance, but at the other end of the model range there’s the ID.4 GTX, which delivers a 0-62 time of 6.2secs and a top speed of 112mph. It’s heavy, mind, so it’s no rocketship.

On the inside there’s a simple array of fixtures, while the 10in touchscreen packs plenty of driver aids.

Design-wise, the VW ID.4 looks great from all angles, with a modern feel that should help future-proof it for a few years. Just as well, as the VW range comes with a premium price tag.
