Corsair K65 RGB Mini
What’s the story?
If you used a PC in the ’80s or early ’90s, the out-of-the-box vibe here will be familiar to you. It’s a wired keyboard, available in black or white, with dynamic RGB backlighting and a spare ‘radiant’ spacebar that’s basically a more lighty-up version. Because of its size, compromises have been made – we miss the arrow keys – but Corsair’s icue software brings lots of customising options.
It it any good?
Corsair’s goal here appears to have been to make the clackiest keyboard going, and the keys travel so far down it’s like your fingers are floating down onto the desk. The K65 Mini uses Cherry’s key switches, and you can choose between different types: ours had Cherry MX Red, great for fast switching between keys and for gaming.
